Planning a retreat, conference, or special event?
Claggett Center offers flexible, all-inclusive group retreat pricing to meet the needs of a wide variety of faith-based organizations, nonprofits, schools, and businesses. Our affordable overnight rates include lodging, meals, and access to meeting spaces and recreational areas across our scenic 268-acre campus.
Overnight Retreat Rates
Overnight rates vary depending on your lodging selection, group size, and season. All packages include:
- Comfortable overnight accommodations
- Three wholesome meals per day
- Meeting space equipped with A/V and Wi-Fi
- Use of trails, fields, and common areas

Day Use & Event Rentals
Claggett also welcomes day retreats, corporate meetings, and single-day events such as worship services, team-building workshops, and leadership trainings. Day use pricing includes:
- Access to a dedicated meeting space
- A/V equipment and Wi-Fi
- Optional meal service and snack packages
- Use of outdoor amenities and campus spaces

Reservation & Booking Policies
Booking Deposit: A signed contract and 25% deposit are required to secure your dates.
Final Guest Count: Must be submitted 21 days prior to arrival. Final invoice will reflect this number.
Cancellations:
- 60+ days prior: Full refund of deposit
- 30–59 days: 50% refund of deposit
- Less than 30 days: Deposit is non-refundable
Check-In/Check-Out:
- Overnight lodging check-in: 4:00 PM
- Check-out: 10:00 AM
- Check-out: 1:00 PM (unless otherwise arranged)
- Meeting space check-in: 1:00 PM
Alcohol Policy: Alcohol is allowed in designated meeting and gathering spaces. Maryland state laws must be followed, and no alcohol may be sold on-site.
Pets: Pets are not permitted, with the exception of certified service animals.
Accessibility: Most buildings and accommodations are ADA-compliant. Please notify us in advance if additional accommodations are needed.
Damage & Cleaning Fees: Groups may be billed for excessive cleaning or property damage.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
