Whether you’re planning a board retreat, leadership summit, conference, or casual gathering, the Claggett Center offers a variety of unique, fully equipped meeting spaces to meet your group’s needs. From cozy breakout rooms to spacious halls with mountain views, each space is designed to foster connection, creativity, and collaboration in a tranquil, natural setting.

Monocacy Hall

Our most versatile venue, Monocacy Hall offers nearly 3,000 square feet of flexible, ADA-accessible meeting space. The main conference room can be configured into one, two, or three breakout rooms, comfortably hosting groups from 15 to 200.

  • Features a cozy gas fireplace nook, and a wrap-around porch with rocking chairs
  • Many small conversation areas with comfortable seating for informal breakout sessions
  • Potomac and Sugarloaf rooms each offer private balconies with stunning views of Sugarloaf Mountain
  • A/V equipment, free Wi-Fi, and a modern conference setup included

The Delaplaine Barn

A truly one-of-a-kind space, the newly restored Delaplaine Barn blends rustic charm with modern convenience.

  • 5,885 square feet of climate-controlled space for up to 270 guests
  • Beautiful hardwood floating floor—ideal for dancing or large group gatherings
  • ADA-accessible with panoramic views of Sugarloaf Mountain

Tidball and Walker Rooms

Located in the Inn, these two fully accessible meeting rooms are perfect for small group discussions or board meetings.
