DONATE

“To do good, to be rich in helping others, to be extravagantly generous.”
1 Timothy 6:18 The Message

Your donations are very important to Claggett!
Claggett depends on the generosity of many to provide a beautiful, Holy place for people of all ages.

Universities and colleges from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC frequently bring students to Claggett for retreats, leadership training and team building.

“Your facilities served as an excellent space for our mentor program gathering and for encouraging team building. Though the weather was not perfect, it cleared sufficiently for a quick outing, including exploring the beautiful big red barn. The students surely benefitted through this time away from campus. Thank you for all your help in planning our visit.”

“The food here is better than my mother’s cooking.”

Claggett offers multiple options for your donation. Click on the picture or title to select how you'd like your on-line donation designated. (Note: All donations to Claggett are tax deductible!)

The Unrestricted Gift!
Unrestricted contributions empower the Claggett Board of Trustees and staff to use funds for projects, programs and "refreshing" the buildings and grounds on a "most needed basis".
The Inn @ Claggett
Gifts and pledges for building new overnight accommodations at Claggett will complete the Conference Center. The Inn will enable guests with mobility challenges to fully participate in programs, retreats and conferences while providing en suite bathrooms and informal fellowship spaces. The Shalom Welcome Center conversion is part of the overall campus plan to create a central welcoming point of arrival.

"The Greening of Claggett"
The goal of this project is to plant a variety of 200 hardy trees to provide beauty, shade and recreational opportunities for generations. Be part of this legacy gift by donating $100 for a tree or any amount to the greening fund. Memorial Trees are larger trees with a brick marker honoring an individual or group for a contribution of $250. Thank you to the many who have already donated a tree.
"Jubilation" Sculpture
The "Jubilation" sculpture is on loan from the metal artist, but everyone wants to keep it at Claggett permanently! These happy figures welcome all and create a sense of wonder, praise and joy. Can you give $10 or $25 or more?

Special Challenge Week
Each year since the mid 70's adults with intellectual disabilities gather at Claggett for a week's vacation filled with swimming, chapel, crafts and a formal dinner dance. Many of these special individuals can not afford the program fee. A donation of $215 provides a partial scholarship.
Camp Scholarships
Claggett faith-based summer camps give youth a loving Christian community, outdoor activities and spirited, informal worship experiences. A gift of $185 provides a partial scholarship for many who require financial assistance.

Adult Scholarships
This fund provides assistance for adults to attend Claggett programs including the Men's and Women's Weekends and the Church Musicians Retreat. Donate $90 for a partial scholarship.
