Come for a weekend of creating shalom in your home! The end of summer and start of new school year is a time of new beginnings: new clothes, new books, new friends, new schedules. So much change is exciting and exhausting as we are tempted to try to “do it all.” We invite you and your family to come and discover a practice of making shalom (peace) in your home so that your family has a place to retreat, be refreshed and nourished to engage the world around them. Shalom is a Hebrew word that roughly translates into “peace” in English. But the meaning of shalom is a rich and deep well, tapping into God’s peace that passes all understanding and offers healing to all of creation.
