Giving To Claggett—We Need Your
Support
Your gift provides funding for scholarships, seed money
for new programs, and capital for improving our physical plant.
Over a third of Claggett summer campers receive scholarships
and the number is growing. In addition to grants for financial assistance,
all campers are subsidized approximately $100 per camp session.
Your gifts make Claggett camps a reality. Scholarship donations also
enable many adults to take advantage of the variety of programs offered
at Claggett. Scholarship gifts change lives! Gifts may take the form
of cash, stock transfers, and designating the Bishop Claggett Center
as a beneficiary in a will, to name a few.
Your gift of time is another critical ingredient for Claggett
programs to thrive. Opportunities for volunteers of all ages
include staffing summer camp, assisting at Special Challenge
Week, serving as design team members for adult programs, creating gardens
and assisting with many other events and tasks. Chaplains, nurses,
artists, music leaders, organizers, workshop leaders and others
are encouraged to share their talents.

Claggett.
Donor Thank You Celebration
Donors who contributed $100 to the Bishop Claggett Center in 2009 or
2010 will be invited to a gala event on May 23 at 4 p.m. Bishops, members
of the Claggett Board of Trustees and honored guests will celebrate
the outpouring of God’s blessings on Pentecost.
