Meet the 2010 Senior Counselors : Laura
Hey
everyone, My name is Laura and I'll be a junior at UMBC in the
fall, double majoring in Computer Science and Mathematics. When
I’m not at school I live in Mount Airy, MD.
During the non-summer months I really enjoy reading, going to
fitness classes at the gym on campus, and recently I’ve
been getting into Sudoku. And when I’m home and have access
to an oven I love baking (and eating!) cookies.
This will be my second summer on senior staff, sixth summer
as a counselor, and thirteenth summer going to Claggett. Needless
to say I'm super excited! My most favorite thing about camp is
probably small group, but other things that I love are: canoeing,
Do You Love Your Neighbor?, the ropes course, chapel, volleyball,
dance parties during dorm time, dance parties at the pool, the
dance during mid- and high school weeks(do you notice a theme
here?) and biking on the canal.
I hope you guys are pumped for camp to start as well, because
I really can’t wait!
