Meet the 2010 Summer Camp Director
The Rev. Amanda Knouse
The Claggett Staff and Board of Trustees
are excited to announce that The Rev. Amanda Knouse will
be the new interim camp director for the 2010 camp season.
Amanda is the Assistant Rector at St. James’ Parish in Lothian,
Maryland where she leads youth and family ministries. She
is active in youth leadership in the Diocese of Maryland
and served as a chaplain for Claggett High School Week and Winter
Jubilee.
In Pennsylvania her camp experience includes program specialist
at Camp Mount Luther and four years as a worship leader and
senior counselor at Krislund Camp. She has worked with youth
at the school, parish and diocesan level and has led mission
trips, created curriculum, trained staff and served as chaplain.
Amanda loves the outdoors, youth camps and working with people
of all ages. Her enthusiasm is contagious and she loves to have
fun!
